BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State students who have been forced to live in hotels may have to move again this weekend.
Some students were put in hotels because a new off-campus housing complex wasn't finished in time. The complex still isn't complete.
But after three days of classes, one hotel is making the students move again because some of the rooms were pre-booked. Students said they don't know where they'll go next.
Safety is another concern for the students. Some students staying in hotels have to cross five lanes of traffic to catch a bus to campus.
Students said they're trying to get the apartment company to let them out of their leases.
