CONCORD, N.C. — Atrium Health cut the ribbon on a new emergency department in Concord.
The more than 11,000 square foot facility is on John Q. Hammons Drive.
The department will provide 24/7 access to emergency medical care.
It will operate as an extension of Atrium Health Cabarrus and is expected to provide nearly 100 new jobs in the community.
It’s expected to open to patients later this month.
