CONCORD, N.C. — Atrium Health cut the ribbon on a new emergency department in Concord Monday.
The more than 11,000 square foot facility is on John Q. Hammons Drive.
The department will provide 24/7 access to emergency medical care.
It will operate as an extension of Atrium Health Cabarrus and is expected to provide nearly 100 new jobs in the community.
