ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities surrounded a mobile home Wednesday afternoon on East View Road near Faith in Rowan County, looking for two men in connection with a weekend shooting.
The investigation stemmed from a shooting Sunday on Old Concord Road in Salisbury.
Authorities received tips that two men wanted in that crime, Dustin Hinson, 26, of China Grove and Douglas Patrick, 19, of Granite Quarry, were inside the mobile home.
Authorities said the Salisbury incident was a home invasion-like robbery and thought the suspects were in one of the mobile homes Wednesday, but no one was inside.
Hinson and Patrick are being sought for felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury.
