CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A south Charlotte dentist is charged with embezzling more than $100,000.
Police said Dr. Steven Ghim embezzled $124,000 from his own Blakeney practice for about 11 months between 2011 and 2012.
Court documents show ties to both Cabarrus and Mecklenburg counties. Ghim was not listed as an inmate in either jail Friday afternoon.
According to Ghim's dentistry website, he specializes in adult cosmetic procedures.
