They haven't been able to drink their well water since the state informed them their water was contaminated.
Residents want Duke Energy and state environmental officials to admit its Duke Energy's coal ash ponds that caused the contamination.
"When I turn on the faucet, I now turn on fear," Amy Brown said.
"To date we've still not seen any evidence that the water wells near plant Allen has been impacted by ash basins," Erin Culbert with Duke Energy said.
Residents want their lives to return to normal now and plan to have more meetings.
