ASHE COUNTY, N.C. — The North Carolina Forest Service says a brush fire has burned 30 acres in Ashe County.
The incident took place in Elk Park, which is north of Newland and right at the state line with Tennessee.
As of Sunday night, Forest Service says the fire is 60% contained.
