PINEVILLE, N.C. — One of the nation’s largest homebuilders has opened sales for its latest community in the region. Meritage Homes Corp. (NSYE: MTH) is building 299 homes at Preston Park in Pineville, with first-time homebuyers in mind.
CBJ reported on plans for the development in the fall of 2018 — though the price point for the homes there has increased slightly since then. The bungalow-style, two-story homes, now priced from the $300,000s, range from roughly 1,800 to 2,100 square feet, according to a press release from the builder this week.
