Building inspector to survey damage at bank struck by car

HICKORY, N.C. — A building inspector will survey the damage to a Hickory bank on Monday, after a man drove through it.

The car was almost completely inside a Bank of America branch located on North Center Street.

Investigators said the driver had some sort of medical issue on Saturday and veered off the road into the bank.

The man is now out of the hospital.
