PINEVILLE, N.C. — The Macy's at Carolina Place Mall will close after the holidays, Channel 9 learned Monday.
The department chain sold that location and four others across the country.
General Growth Properties, which owns Carolina Place Mall, bought the Charlotte store and three of the others for $46 million.
The mal has not said what store will go in Macy's place.
