CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Douglas International Airport is one of the easiest airports for travelers to navigate, according to a report by USA Today.
The newspaper used data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics to rank Charlotte-Douglas in the top five for on-time departures.
It says travelers have a relatively low average security wait time of just over 13 minutes.
The report also cites a recent Travel Leaders Group survey that ranks Charlotte-Douglas second in the country for making connections. It said that may be because of its single terminal with multiple concourses.
The airport is the biggest hub for US Airways.
The Department of Transportation ranked the airline second, behind Delta, in on-time arrivals for April.
US Airways was also second to Delta in baggage handling and customer satisfaction for the month.
