CHARLOTTE — Bank of America Corp. and Lowe’s Cos. Inc. have placed on Fortune’s annual ranking of the “World’s Most Admired Companies.”

Charlotte-based Bank of America landed at No. 45 and Mooresville-based Lowe’s came in at No. 47 on the ranking of corporate reputation released Monday.
Several other local companies such as Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc., Duke Energy Corp., Honeywell International Inc., Nucor Corp. and Truist Financial Corp. also made the list, though they did not receive individual rankings.
