CHARLOTTE — Charlotte City Council is discussing changes to its meetings.
The city called a special committee meeting Monday.

Council members discussed whether to allow votes on topics that also have public hearings the same night.
Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro often do this.
Charlotte typically votes a week or two after holding a public hearing.
