CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Maya Hotels has invested $19 million into its newest property in the Charlotte market.
The five-story, 90,000-square-foot Hilton Garden Inn opened Monday in Gastonia.

That 119-room hotel is located on a 3-acre parcel at 444 Cox Road, close to Interstate 85 and in proximity to attractions such as the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and the U.S. National Whitewater Center.
“We are thrilled to spur growth in the Gastonia hotel market with the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Gastonia,” says J.D. Deva, chief executive of Maya Hotels.
That facility offers 7,500 square feet of meeting space with full catering services. That flexible meeting space can accommodate up to 650 for business conferences, weddings and other events.
