State Bureau of Investigation agents have arrested a Charlotte accused of operating an illegal dental clinic from her home.
A search warrant was executed Thursday by state investigators at the residents near Albemarle Road in east Charlotte.
Investigators said Isis Munoz, 46, had a dental chair in the house and had been doing dental work there for several years without a license.
Munoz was charged with practicing dentistry without a license, dispensing non-controlled substance without a permit and obtaining a non-controlled substance without a prescription. All the charges are misdemeanors.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration are also assisting with the investigation.
