Chemical manufacturer adding jobs in the region

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Chemical manufacturer Dymax Corp. will invest $21.5 million to establish a facility in Gastonia, bringing 59 jobs to the region, according to a news release from the N.C. Department of Commerce.

“Even amid unprecedented short-term challenges facing the global economy, advanced manufacturers remain eager to invest in North Carolina because they know our business climate is conducive to their long-term success,” said Commerce Secretary Tony Copeland.
