CHARLOTTE — More townhomes are coming to northwest Charlotte despite neighbor opposition.
Charlotte City Council voted 7-3 Monday night to approve the development along Mount Holly-Huntersville Road.
Plans for the project include nearly 100 townhomes that will be built on vacant land on Cook’s Presbyterian Church property.
Councilmembers Renee Johnson, Dimple Ajmera and Malcolm Graham voted no.
