C.J. Henderson talks first year with Carolina Panthers

CHARLOTTE — C.J. Henderson hasn’t been with the Carolina Panthers long, but the cornerback is making a name for himself in the Queen City.

After being traded to the Panthers in 2021 from the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he was first drafted, Henderson made an immediate impact last season. He tallied 24 solo tackles in ten games. Henderson has six total tackles through two games in 2022.

Henderson is still getting used to being on a new team and in a new city.

“Looking back on it, it was very difficult,” Henderson said. “It’s a process, a learning curve to go through.”
