CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two flights to Europe from Charlotte Douglas International Airport are on hold amid rising concerns about the novel coronavirus.
American Airlines Group Inc., by far the dominant carrier at CLT, announced this morning it has further adjusted its schedules in response to reduced travel demand due to an outbreak of the illness now known as COVID-19.
That includes suspending service to Rome from CLT and delaying the start of seasonal service to Barcelona, Spain, according to the carrier’s news release.
