CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a fatal crash in south Charlotte.
It happened just before 9 p.m. near Old Providence Road. The road near Old Providence Road at Venue Place is closed, CMPD said.
MEDIC said they responded to the area for a traffic crash. It is still unclear what led to the crash.
