CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Bomb Squad said there was no threat after investigating a suspicious package at an Atrium Health corporate office in west Charlotte.
Authorities responded to the scene on Golf Acres Drive near Morris Field Drive. Atrium Health evacuated the building before CMPD got there.
Police asked people to avoid the area while they investigated. A short time later, CMPD determined there was not a threat and that the scene was being cleared.
