CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was charged with murder in a Charlotte homicide that happened in October.
Samuel Antoine Smith Jr., 25, was charged in the death of Larry Dean Bowden, 65.
Police were called to the 900 block of North Tryon Street at 1 a.m. Oct. 5 on a report of an assault and discovered an injured Bowden laying in the road.
Bowden died on Oct. 30 from injuries sustained during the alleged assault.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Smith Tuesday without incident.
