Company accused of dumping hazardous waste strikes deal with government

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A company that was paid to get rid of hazardous waste is accused of abandoning it in the heart of NoDa.

Tons of dangerous material was left sitting near apartments, restaurants and a YMCA.
