Concealed weapons now allowed with permit in Gaston Co. parks

GASTONIA, N.C. — People with a concealed carry permit can now bring their guns to Gaston County parks.

County commissioners voted on the change Tuesday night. Now the county law is aligned with the new state law.

Concealed weapons carriers can bring their guns to park playgrounds, greenways, biking and walking paths.
