CONCORD, N.C. — A fire damaged a house on Central Drive Northwest in Concord around 6 p.m. on New Year’s Day, Concord Fire released.
The department responded to a dwelling fire at the residence and arrived on the scene within three minutes.
Responding firefighters were met with an attic fire which was brought under control in 12 minutes.
Firefighters were also able to rescue three cats and dogs from the unoccupied home during the fire.
The department announced that no injuries have been reported and the American Red Cross is helping the residents.
CFD said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
