MIDLAND, N.C. — A yellow Corvette lost control in an ice cream shop parking lot Sunday morning in Cabarrus County.
It happened around 11 a.m. at the Sundae Shoppe at Highway 601 and Highway 24/27 in Midland. The car hit a power pole, causing power outages in the area.
Officers were routing people through a gas station parking lot to avoid the crash.
The driver is expected to be OK.
