CONCORD, N.C. — Charlotte Motor Speedway picked a Cox Mill High School graduate for the $4,800 Jimmie Johnson Scholarship.
It was created during the NASCAR legend’s final Cup Series season in 2020.
It goes to a Cabarrus County high school senior pursuing a degree in fitness, nutrition or exercise science.
Paige Woosley is going to USC in Columbia this fall, hoping to become an occupational therapist.
