CPI operator alerts first responders to explosion, likely saving home from being destroyed

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A couple from Caldwell County is calling a home security operator a guardian angel.

A CPI security operator was alerted about an explosion inside the Miller’s home near Sawmills and notified emergency dispatchers, which most likely saved the home from being destroyed by a fire.

“Had he not been doing his job, our house would not be here,” homeowner Teresa Miller said.
