WAXHAW, N.C. — Waxhaw and Providence fire department crews used the Jaws of Life to cut an occupant from a mangled vehicle after it wrecked on Waxhaw-Marvin Road Monday night.
Two people were injured in the two-vehicle wreck, one of them was flown airlifted to the hospital.
Officials believe another vehicle in front of the two dropped a piece of wood causing the crash.
It is not known what is the extent of the injuries are.
