MOORESVILLE, N.C. — A toddler has died several days after falling into Lake Norman near Mooresville, officials said.
Authorities said that 19-month-old Rory Allender died after being hospitalized Saturday afternoon.
Iredell County Sheriff's Office Maj. Andy Poteat said there were four children and five adults at the home off Brawley School Road when family members noticed the boy was missing.
Family members found him in the water.
The sheriff's office is investigating.
No charges have been filed.
No other details were immediately available.
