Crews repair 2 separate water pipes in Charlotte; customers experience outages

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Water crews were working to repair two separate water pipes Tuesday morning, the utility said on Twitter.

Around 9:45 a.m., Charlotte Water tweeted crews were working in the 3600 block of Central Avenue, near Eastway Drive. Then a few minutes later, the utility said they were working on a pipe at 300 Dalton Avenue in north Charlotte.

Water was expected to be out for six to eight hours in both locations while crews worked on the repair, Charlotte Water said.

No further information was released.
