Crews work to help bear stuck in tree in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Officials in Mooresville are working to help a bear that got stuck in a tree Friday.

East Center Avenue is closed between Church Street and Maple Street, while officials try to get the bear out of the tree.

Authorities have not said how the bear got stuck or if it is hurt.
