BOONE, N.C. — The Boone Police Department has released surveillance footage from a robbery that occurred at CVS last week.
The footage is available online in two clips at bit.ly/CVSclip1 and bit.ly/CVSclip2
The robbery occurred at about 5:30 p.m. April 5 when a man entered the store, showed a gun to the pharmacy clerk and demanded prescription drugs, according to Sgt. Matt Stevens of the Boone Police Department.
Surveillance video showed the man approaching the store on foot from the area of Doctors Drive and running away in the same direction.
Stevens said Thursday that no new information was available about the crime. Police are still seeking information from the public at (828) 268-6900 or Crimestoppers at (828) 268-6959.
