CHARLOTTE — North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper has said the entire time since the COVID-19 pandemic descended on the Tar Heel State that they have relied on science to guide their decisions to try and stop the spread of the deadly virus.

His team has presented data at least once a week since the coronavirus made its way into the state.
