Dave & Buster’s to layoff workers at Pineville location

PINEVILLE, N.C. — Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and now, Channel 9 has learned that another business will soon layoff workers in the area.

Warn notices were posted for 59 workers at the Pineville Dave & Buster’s. Notices were also sent to two other locations in North Carolina, including one in Wake County and another in Forsyth County.

The company said they plan on rehiring many of those workers once arcades are allowed to reopen. It said it is not closing the store.

Below is a full statement from Dave & Buster’s:

“As the notices indicate, we will do our best to rehire as many of our team members as we can when arcades are allowed to reopen by state and local entities but, we are not closing the stores.”
