CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — Duke Energy has announced they will be developing new land in Cleveland County.
The utility company said it will use about 350-acres of land for a new solar farm.
Our partners at the Shelby Star report that the facility will be off McCraw Road.
The project was approved by state officials in January.
Developers said it will help improve consumer costs as it relates to renewable energy.
