BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A fire destroyed a detached garage and car in Burke County Saturday morning.
The Lovelady Fire Department from Rutherford College says it responded to the call just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to any other buildings.
The cause is under investigation.
