CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — Fire investigators in Catawba County are trying to determine what started a fire at a popular golf club early this morning.
The fire burned at the Glen Oaks Golf Club shortly before 6 a.m. Sunday.
Firefighters said when they got there they could see smoke and flames coming from the clubhouse.
Volunteer firefighters from Maiden and Lincoln County worked for nearly an hour to bring that fire under control.
