BESSEMER CITY, N.C. — Gaston County communications told Channel 9 that a truck pulling a trailer was hit by a Norfolk Southern train Friday afternoon.
Crews were sent to 8th Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue in Bessemer City.
Norfolk Southern said the train was traveling from Greenville, South Carolina to LInwood, North Carolina with three locomotives and 15 rail cars.
There are no reports of injuries.
It's not clear why the trailer was stuck on the tracks.
