From Eastover to Cornelius, here are Mecklenburg County's priciest home sales in April

CHARLOTTE — Mecklenburg County’s priciest home to sell in April carried a $4.7 million price tag.

That nearly 8,700-square-foot home can be found in Charlotte’s Eastover neighborhood. Built in 2014, the residence includes five bedrooms, four full- and two half-bathrooms and is situated on about an acre lot.

The home on Museum Drive hit the housing market last October with a listing price just shy of $5 million.

Other homes that rank among the county’s most-expensive sales last month span the neighborhoods of Olde Providence North, Myers Park, Foxcroft and Freedom Park in Charlotte as well as Huntersville and Cornelius. They range in price from nearly $2 million to $4.7 million.
