CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Sunday family and friends are helping a mother and daughter who were both in critical condition after a motorcycle accident earlier this year.
Troopers say that Karen Border and her daughter, Conner Flowe, got a flat tire driving on Interstate 485 near Beatties Ford Road at the end of July.
The motorcycle that Border and Flowe were riding lost control and flipped.
There is a fundraiser to help with their medical bills on Sunday at Amos Southend.
Several bands will play, starting at 2 p.m.
