GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia police are looking for two men who crashed into a gas station, caused a fire and took off with a gun.
The Gastonia Fire Department gave Eyewitness News pictures of the fire at a gas station on Bessemer City Road.
Firefighters quickly turned the gas main off and put the car fire out.
A witness said the car was at the pump when the driver backed up, hit her car and ran into a gas tank.
Those two men ran off. Firefighters evacuated nearby homes and business while they made sure the fire was out. At this point police have not found the car's owner so they are not sure if it was stolen.
