German brewery Gilde targets development in lower South End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — German brewer Gilde appears to have set its sights on lower South End.

Pre-submittal documents filed with the city this week mention the brewery as a potential tenant at 3530 Dewitt Lane.

That address is in Beacon Partners’ LoSo Village. It ties to a 9,200-square-foot space in that adaptive-reuse project, located directly behind the Scaleybark Station on the Charlotte Area Transit System’s Lynx Blue Line.
