Hendrick Motorsports’ $23.7M spec project wins Concord incentives

CONCORD, N.C. — The city of Concord has given its nod to a proposed advanced manufacturing investment from Hendrick Motorsports.

On March 9, Concord City Council approved an incentives grant for HSREI LLC, which is affiliated with Hendrick. The grant was tied to a proposed project calling for the development of a 269,500-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility, city documents state.

The project, which includes an estimated $23.7 million investment, would be developed speculatively on a 30-acre site adjacent to the Hendrick campus.
