HICKORY, N.C. — Police in Hickory are trying to figure out if a roof-top burglar is connected to other break-ins across the southeast.
Someone climbed onto the roof of the T.J. Maxx early Monday morning and broke in by going through the heating and air-conditioning unit.
Inside they broke into the store's safe stealing a large amount of money.
Investigators said there are similar break-ins involving T.J. Maxx's in North Carolina, Tennessee and South Carolina.
