ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers were forced to close a highway east of Rockwell overnight after a car hit a power pole, officials said.

The wreck happened at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Highway 52 at BK Avenue.
The road in Rowan County is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Friday.
No injuries were reported.
