A neighbor was able to shoot video of the fire and told Eyewitness News that the family was not home when the fire started.
He said he first realized something was wrong when he started smelling smoke.
"We started seeing that glow coming out of my neighbors' house and started hearing windows and popping and stuff," he said.
The neighbor said the smoke reached the side of his house but firefighters kept the fire from spreading.
The Red Cross said that four adults were displaced because of the fire.
Investigators are still trying to determine how it started.
