CHARLOTTE — According to the Charlotte Fire Department, a house fire on Sunday caused around $75,000 in damage.
The home was located in the 4400 block of Meridian Drive.
Officials said no one was home at the time. The fire started in the basement and spread throughout the house. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
It took firefighters around 20 minutes to control the fire.
