CHARLOTTE, N.C. — RH Charlotte, The Gallery at Phillips Place was a flurry of activity Thursday as employees put the finishing touches on that three-story, 50,000-square-foot venue.
The high-end furniture and design gallery opens in SouthPark at 11 a.m. on Friday.
That location is more than four times larger than the existing RH, formerly Restoration Hardware, at the specialty shopping complex.
Lincoln Harris CEO Johnny Harris says the gallery is everything RH offered — just on a vastly expanded scale. The expanded concept was the first tenant confirmed as part of Lincoln Harris’ $50 million redesign of that center.
“We’re making enhancements to Phillips Place that will redefine the premier luxury retail experience in Charlotte, and RH Charlotte is going to play a major role in that,” Harris said.
