Humane Society of Charlotte, NoDa Brewing team up for Rescue Brew

CHARLOTTE — The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) and NoDa Brewing Company are searching for the Queen City’s top dog and cat.

The winners of the online photo competition will be the face of NoDa Brewing’s limited edition Rescue Brew.

The fundraiser will support the mission of HSC and go directly to help the animals being cared for by the organization.

Charlotte artist Maddy Ebbert will turn the winning photos into custom pet portraits. Those portraits will then become the official Rescue Brew 2023 can label.

In addition, the top six dogs and top six cats will be featured in the official Rescue Brew Calendar. All 12 winners will also receive a professional photo session.

The photo contest runs through June 12. All photo submissions require a $10 entry fee.

Voting ends June 20 at 9 p.m. Each vote costs $1.

The Rescue Brew contest winners will be announced June 23 and a release party is scheduled for Aug. 4.
