HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A developer seeking approvals for a notable industrial project in Huntersville has won support from a key body.
At its meeting on July 25, the Huntersville Planning Board recommended approval of a rezoning request from Foundry Commercial. The developer is seeking to rezone an approximately 60-acre site on Everette Keith Road to allow up to 750,000 square feet of industrial space.
The planning board makes recommendations on rezoning cases to the full board of commissioners, which has final authority on the matter. The town commissioners board is tentatively scheduled to consider the Foundry request on Aug. 21.
